International Interdisciplinary Symposium 'Fundamental Concepts about Human Life in the Modern Science'
7 July 2015 in Moscow in the hotel 'Salut' (Leninskiy prospekt, 158) an International Interdisciplinary Symposium 'Fundamental Concepts about Human Life in the Modern Science' will take place
The conference organizers: Pronatalist Research Centre, Autonomous Non- commercial Organization ''International Festival of Social Technologies in Favour of Family Values 'FOR LIFE''.
International Interdisciplinary Symposium 'Fundamental Concepts about Human Life in the Modern Science' is the first one in the row of planned events for 2015- 2016, dedicated to the scientific, legal, demographic, social and political, medical, ethical and other aspects of human life in the period from conception to birth. Its goal is interdisciplinary training and informing a wide public and authorities of modern scientific and humanistic concepts about initial stages of human life.
The themes of the symposium include the following directions:
- Beginning of human life according to the data of modern genetics and embryology;
- Personality and consciousness development of a child before birth according to the data of prenatal psychology;
- Intrauterine child from the point of neonatology;
- Infant, fetus, embryo − historic-philological analysis of religious, ideological and scientific concepts;
- Child before birth from the point of human ages sociology;
- Definition of 'child' concept in the international and national legislation, its legal status in historical perspective.
- Working languages of the conference: Russian and English (simultaneous interpreting).
As an outcome of the conference a sourcebook publication is planned.
More than 300 experts and guests from Russia and of near and far abroad are expected to take part in the symposium.
